Our 50^th Year Roundup

Dear Classmates of ’60:

There are two big days planned for the Class of ’60 graduates of AHS and THS on Friday and Saturday, September 24 and 25, 2010 at the Ambassador Hotel in Amarillo

Registration will begin Friday the 24^th from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM with hors d’oeuvres served in the Atrium.

Saturday morning you are on your own for breakfast.  The hotel serves from 7:00 AM until noon.  At 11:30 AM and lasting until 3:00 PM, a hamburger luncheon at the LIT Ranch has been planned.  A fee of $15 will cover the meal and the bus transportation costs.  If you plan to attend this event and wish to pre-register and/or make donations, we will be accepting these monies immediately.  Registrations and money must be received by August 15, 2010.

Our Saturday evening event will commence with dinner served from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM with music, dancing, and visiting from 9:00 to midnight.  A cash bar will also be available from 3:00 PM to midnight.

Cost of registration, dinner, and dancing is $45 per person and dress is casual.  If you want to attend any or all of these events, please make your checks payable to the AHS/THS Class of ’60 for a total of $60 for both events, $45 for just the evening event, or $15 for just the hamburger luncheon.

The Ambassador Hotel has 50 rooms blocked off at a cost of $94 per room for our event.  When calling for reservations you must mention the AHS/THS 1960 Reunion to get this special rate.  The hotel is located at 3100 I-40 West, just west of the intersection of I-40 and Georgia.  The phone number is 800-817-0521 or 806-358-6161.  Email is www.AmbassadorAmarillo.com.
